Personal data

Data collected on this site is processed by BIMMER SERVICE SAS (Askwert Motors), the data controller. It is neither sold, rented nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Contact form

The form on the Contact page collects your name, telephone number, email address, requested service, vehicle details, message and, if you wish, up to 3 photographs, videos or documents. Enquiries sent from showroom listings use the same form. This information reaches us by email so that we can assess and answer your enquiry and prepare the work; an acknowledgement is sent to you. It is not stored in a site database: it remains in our business email system.

Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Retention: for the time needed to handle your enquiry, then up to 3 years after our last exchange. If work is carried out, the applicable legal and accounting retention periods then apply.

Site security

Your IP address is processed temporarily in memory to limit the number of form submissions per visitor. It is not retained or used for any other purpose.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the site against automated submissions and abuse.

Recipients

Your data is accessible only to authorised Askwert Motors personnel. It is technically processed by our service providers, acting only on our instructions:

  • OVH SAS: site hosting on a server in France;
  • NEXEL.dev: site development and server administration;
  • Google (Google Workspace): business email and sending emails from the form;
  • Google (Google Analytics): audience measurement, only if you have consented.

Where a provider may transfer data outside the European Union, the transfer is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as a right to data portability. To exercise them, write to the email address or registered office address shown above.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL: www.cnil.fr.

Cookies and trackers

This site sets no advertising cookies. Only one tool uses cookies subject to your consent: audience measurement.

  • Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4): only with your consent, Google Analytics counts visits, pages viewed and clicks on call, WhatsApp and form buttons to improve the site. The “_ga” and “ga” cookies are retained for no more than 13 months. Until you consent, Google’s script is not loaded and no data is transmitted to it. Advertising signals and Google Signals are disabled. Google Ireland Limited processes this data on our behalf; transfers to the United States may occur, governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
  • Remembering your choice: your decision is stored in your browser for 6 months, after which you are asked again. This storage is strictly necessary and does not require consent.
  • Google reviews: reviewers’ profile photographs are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address in the process.
  • Administration area: a strictly necessary session cookie is set only for authorised people who log in to manage the site.

You can accept, refuse or withdraw consent at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page; withdrawal deletes audience measurement cookies. Legal basis: your consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).

The site’s maps are static images (© OpenStreetMap contributors): displaying them transmits no data to a third party.

Consumer mediation

Under Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute.

Askwert Motors endeavours to keep the information published on this site accurate and up to date. It is provided for information and may change without notice. Published prices include VAT and are indicative: they become binding only once a quote has been issued.
